MMA and The Nature Conservancy in Michigan are pleased to announce a new series of in-person workshops on manufacturing sustainability for 2023 that will offer practical tools and best practices companies can follow to reduce carbon emissions while saving money, attracting talent, growing their business and helping their communities be more attractive places to live. The workshops will be held in three areas of the state – Grand Rapids, Jackson and Saginaw – and each will focus on a different aspect of sustainability in manufacturing.
Meet the Host: Hemlock Semiconductor is the nation’s leading manufacturer of high-purity polysilicon – the foundational ingredient in semiconductors and solar panels. HSC will host a workshop at its Hemlock plant just west of Saginaw focused on building a sustainability plan that addresses the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) components of sustainable manufacturing.
