MMA is partnering with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to help manufacturers go global with the International Trade Program. For 10 years, this successful program has helped small- and medium-sized businesses diversify their customer base, stabilize sales, and ultimately grow their business through exporting. As a result of MEDC’s International Trade Program support, Michigan small businesses have reported over $4B in facilitated export sales.

The Michigan State Trade Expansion Program, or MI-STEP, helps Michigan small businesses increase their reach in international markets with federal and state grant dollars to reduce the cost of doing business in global markets.
