Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Republican legislative leaders announced a deal that will stop any further action on the permanent COVID-19 Workplace Safety Rules that the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) has been working to promulgate. Yet MIOSHA Emergency Rules and the 5/15/21 Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Gatherings and Face Mask order remain in place.
