Description
The Gordie Howe International Bridge will transform how people and goods move across North America by creating a direct, highway-to-highway connection between Ontario’s Highway 401 and Michigan’s Interstate-75. Designed with six traffic lanes, 16 toll lanes and 60 Canada and U.S. inspection lanes, the new crossing and its modern ports of entry will enhance border efficiency, reliability and capacity for commercial traffic. These advanced onsite facilities are expected to deliver significant benefits for regional supply chains, manufacturers and commercial carriers operating between Canada and the United States.
Join MMA and Heather Grondin from Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA), the organization responsible for delivering and overseeing the project, as they provide an inside look at the bridge’s key features, operational readiness, and programs designed to support industry users. The session will highlight how manufacturers can prepare for the new crossing, improve cross-border logistics planning and take advantage of the Breakaway program, which offers exclusive toll discounts and hassle-free payment options.
