STACK Cybersecurity

About

STACK Cybersecurity helps manufacturers protect their operations, data, and reputation by embedding security into every layer of their IT and OT environments. We work with production teams to identify vulnerabilities before they disrupt output, implement safeguards that reduce downtime risk, and ensure compliance with evolving cybersecurity standards. From ransomware defense and third-party risk assessments to secure remote access and regulatory readiness our approach is proactive, strategic, and tailored to the unique pressures of the manufacturing sector. Whether you're navigating CMMC, NIST 800-171, or ISO 27001, STACK provides the expertise and infrastructure to keep your production line moving and your business resilient.

Compliance is What We Do

STACK Cybersecurity is a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO), which means we provide professional services to help defense suppliers achieve compliance with NIST and CMMC standards. We work with you to conduct tabletop exercises, perform penetration tests, run scans and deliver gap analyses. We can manage your compliance project from start to finish, or we can collaborate with your in-house IT and compliance teams.

Protect More. Manage Better. Grow Faster.

STACK Cybersecurity is a trusted partner in digital protection and IT support. With over two decades of experience, we deliver both advanced cybersecurity solutions and reliable technology services that help businesses defend against threats, meet regulatory requirements and build long-term resilience.

Our cybersecurity practice includes managed security, risk assessments, penetration testing, incident response and compliance support. Beyond security, we provide comprehensive IT services such as server management, patching, software support, Microsoft 365 administration and desktop maintenance. Whether you're securing sensitive data or keeping your systems running smoothly, STACK helps your business thrive.

Our managed Network Operations Center (NOC) leverages a dedicated team of IT professionals who monitor, manage and maintain your network infrastructure around the clock. Using state-of-the-art technology and industry best practices, we ensure the continuous availability, performance and security of your IT environment through proactive support, rapid incident response and seamless network operations.

Additional Info

With Michigan's first Department of Labor-certified cybersecurity apprenticeship program, STACK Cybersecurity has pioneered an innovative approach to cybersecurity workforce development. This program allows us to recruit, train, and retain non-traditional learners and technicians.

STACK Cybersecurity can accept GI Bill® benefits and Going Pro talent funds for our Cyber Defense Incident Responder apprenticeship.

STACK Cybersecurity is a registered training provider and apprenticeship sponsor. We welcome apprentices from across Michigan, including those employed by other companies, who want to enroll in our program.

The cybersecurity landscape faces an unprecedented challenge: over 700,000 unfilled positions nationwide, with demand far outpacing qualified candidates. This shortfall means only 83% of available cybersecurity jobs are currently filled, underscoring a substantial domestic skills gap.

While most companies struggle to find talent, we've created our own pipeline. Our Cyber Defense Incident Responder Apprenticeship Program transforms motivated individuals into skilled security professionals through a strategic combination of hands-on experience, dedicated mentorship, and industry-recognized certifications.

Recognizing the talent shortage, nearly half (45%) of surveyed U.S. companies plan to remove Bachelor's degree requirements from cybersecurity job postings. This shift aims to broaden the talent pool by focusing on practical skills over formal education credentials.

STACK Cybersecurity apprentice graduates are issued a certificate from the DoL. Through the Registered Apprenticeship College Consortium, graduates of Registered Apprenticeship programs can have their apprenticeship experience evaluated for college credit. Registered Apprenticeship graduates can earn up to 60 college credits based on their apprenticeship experience, which is equivalent to an Associate's degree in terms of credit hours.
